I spent three years living and working at Lijiang Studio, an international art residence in the countryside of Yunnan. I painted a triptych mural for the neighbours of the art studio—a family of three generations—on the wall of their courtyard in three different styles, with the local landscape, the Lashihai Lake, in the background.
